We are pleased to offer you a complete repair center for all of your club repair needs. The Golf Studio offers the following services:
Over time, grips harden, crack, and even become slippery and dangerous to use. Grips that are old and worn may slip in your hands, which requires you to grip the club tighter and can result in negative swing flaws. A new grip lets you "feel" the club all over again.
Most people are unaware that the correct grip size plays an important part in your golf swing. A grip that is too small can cause the club face to close too early in the swing and lead to a hook. A grip that is too big can cause the club face to stay open at impact, resulting in a push or slice.
Here at JRS Golf Club Repair we offer dozens of different grips with a variety of materials and textures. A new grip can offer the feel of a custom club and increase the overall performance.
We carry a wide variety of our grips in stock. In most cases, regripping can be ready the next business day.
Perhaps the most import part of any golf club is the shaft. At JRS Golf Club Repair, we have the optimal setup to make sure that you have the right shafts for you. We have availability to every major shaft manufacturer and can reshaft almost any golf club on the market.
In conjuction with our fitting experts at The Golf Studio at NorthStone, JRS Golf Club Repair is the ideal place to find the right shafts for you.
Lie angle also plays a major role in the directional pattern of golf shots. After being fit by our experts at The Golf Studio at NorthStone, our clubmaker can adjust almost any club to almost any desired lie angle. Lie angle is an overlooked and very important aspect to any golf club.
Club Grinding is done primarily on wedges. This work is performed to adjust the bounce of the golf club. Having the proper bounce on a wedge gives the golfer the ability to play many different shots off of many different surfaces.
Many times, the proper weighting in the clubhead can drastically improve the overall performance of a golf club. Changing the weight in a golf club can affect both the height of a shot and also the direction. Our clubmaker can add weight to any club using lead, and can remove weight from almost any wedge by drilling out the bottom. If you look closely, many
players on T.V. have weight removed to achieve the desired weighting.
Along with what is offered above, our clubmaker can customize almost any order. Some golfers have been using the same "specs" for years. We can customize almost anything to give each individual golfer his/her desired properties in their golf clubs.
