"I started working with Erik the summer of my 9th grade year. Since then I have seen such drastic improvement. I went from shooting high 40s from the front tees to consistently par from the tips. He has helped me in every aspect of the game from full swing to short game to putting. Erik has never been one to put in minimal effort either. Throughout the years I couldn’t tell you how many times he has stayed extra hours to make sure that everything was going smoothly and he is always there when I need some help. Switching to Erik to help me with my golf game was by far the best golf decision I have ever made. I will be playing golf at Ohio University in the Fall of 2013 and I owe a huge amount of my successes to Erik."

"Erik Herberth has been much more than just a swing coach for my son, Peyton. When Peyton first shared with me that he would like to begin playing golf competitively and give up competitive baseball, I was surprised but supportive nonetheless.  I knew Peyton was a good athlete but also knew that he needed professional golf instruction in order to achieve his goal of competing with the strong junior golfers in our area.  Peyton began taking lessons with Erik following ninth grade and Erik quickly recognized Peyton's athleticism and potential in the game of golf. Erik has always provided individualized instruction, focused on crafting a repeatable swing but also spending a lot of time on the cognitive aspects of the game. One of Erik's greatest strengths is the ability to quickly diagnose swing flaws and incorporate fixes. When I reflect on what Erik has meant to Peyton's golf career, I think more than anything, he has helped Peyton realize his potential and focus on the mental aspects of competing with others that have been involved in competitive golf for much longer. Erik has been able to bring out the best in not only Peyton's golf game but also help position him for success in all of his future endeavors."

"I began working with Erik the Fall semester of my Freshman year in College. I wasn't playing well at the time or the summer prior, so I felt I needed to change something in my game. From the first lesson, I noticed astonishing results. He has an amazing ability to break down your swing, piece by piece, to determine where you need to begin. Instead of telling you "you need to fix this and that", he is able to focus on one or two flaws that help mend the rest on your swing.

I've been working with Erik for nine months now and have never looked back. I only shot under par a few times in all the tournaments I've played in the past five years and already this summer alone, I have posted five under par rounds out of the ten I have played. He has been in junior and collegiate player positions before and knows what it takes to be the best. Therefore, he puts 110% into every lesson.

I have always had a very good short game and never had many lessons on it but he is the only one I trust looking at it. If I am ever struggling inside 100 yards, he is able to help me hit the shots around the green that I see fit to my eye. Not only is he impeccable with the mechanics of the game, he is just as good with the conceptual aspects such as the mental game. He makes sure you realize that without a mental game, you will get nowhere.

Most importantly, Erik is more than a golf instructor to me. He is a true friend that wants me to succeed just as much, if not more, than I do. He is always going out of his way and putting in extra hours to make sure I fully understand what we are working on and helps me strive to be the best that I can. He will send me a text when I'm at a tournament to see how and I did and if I ever need to call him for a quick fix for the next round, he's always there for me. He pushes me to my limits because he knows I can become a better player everyday. Having Erik as my golf instructor has by far been the best decision I have made in my golfing career. I couldn't be happier to say that he is my instructor."
